What are those grayish semi-translucent spots on some egg shells?

When the egg is in its infancy, it's very small and soft. When sperm is trying to fertalize the egg, it makes indentations in the egg and forms blemishes. As the egg grows and stretches, the blemishes get big enough to notice when the egg reaches full size.

I made up that answer in my head. Report It
Reply:Many eggs have that thin filmy layer over the sac, and sometimes it is thinner in certain places, or has condensed in a certain area more so than others. It is nothing to be concerned about.
