What will i do to make an investigatory project about tahong shells?

I have NO idea what a tahong shell is. But here are some questions to being asking:

What are they made of?

How big are they?

Where do I find them?

What lives inside of them and why are they gone?

What can they be used to make?

What role do they play in my culture and why?

Why are they shaped the way they are shaped?

Once you make some general observations about these shells the ideas will come POURING out. Forcing a hypothesis out of thin air is like writers block. Just start looking at these stupid shells, make some notes and sketches. Count things about them and make charts. Note the color and mass. Before long you'll be so curious about the damn things that you'll want to know EVERYTHING about them and ONE of those questions will burn inside you and THAT is the one that you should do your project on.

Now GET TO WORK! You never know what you might find or how your discovery could change the world overnight!
