Eggs shells? are they good for the soil.?

what's your experience?

what other left over food items can be good for soil.

Eggs shells? are they good for the soil.?
yes; they are. They naturally restore calcium. Also, birds eat it %26amp; it's used by them for laying eggs. Crush it up first.

Any raw food leftovers are good, like celery or fruits/veggies that've gone bad, as they decompose %26amp; make good compost. Meat is NOT good.
Reply:Eggshells are great for plants. Put cracked shells in a container and fill with water, let stand overnight and water plants smells terrible but great for healthy plants. Coffee grinds for acid loving plants I use this on my roses. I also use leftover coffee for the indoor plants every two weeks.
Reply:The best way to use egg shells, is to boil eggs (keep the water), peel and replace crushed egg shell peels back into the water and pour the water and all into the soil.
