Where would a salvo of shells from HMS BELFAST land with her guns in their present position ?

A Royal Navy cruiser's main guns had a range of about 25 miles Because this famous ship is moored East to West let's assume that she fires North or South.

Chose your own targets but stay away from my house!

Where would a salvo of shells from HMS BELFAST land with her guns in their present position ?
They are aimed at the Palace of Westminster.

"Master gunner - broadside - fire...."
Reply:West London? Between Westminster (ahem) and Hyde Park?
Reply:If you go on HMS Belfast there is a map of SE England showing the range of the guns. Work out the orientation of the ship on the map and look on the circle that gives the extreme range. Shells would land in two places as there are two batteries, one forward and one aft.

No, it's not in America amibeeth. HMS means it's a Royal Navy ship.
Reply:if the barrels are plugged they'd explode on the deck presumably
Reply:Wherever fire control wants them to within a very large radius.

Clive, what's this Master Gunner bollocks? This isn't America, fruit.

Trust me, Master Gunner hasn't passed the lips of a Royal Navy officer for an exceptionally long time, if, indeed, it ever did.
Reply:Is this place in USA?
Reply:Downing St :)
Reply:I take it you are talking about the main battery, of the HMS BELFAST. Seeing that the guns are angle, for maximum range, The guns had a range of about 21,000 yards.
Reply:Somewhere in north west London.
