Creative things to do with sea shells?

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do with some shells we brought home from the beach. My daughter is 2-1/2 years old and loves to do creative things, but I'm just not a very creative person!

Creative things to do with sea shells?
Last time I took my son to the beach he found a ton of shells.

We went to a craft store like Michaels or JoAnn and got a large jar with a cork lid. I filled it in layers with actual sand from the beach (you can always purchase play sand if you don't live near the beach) and the shells. It's a little memory jar of the fun day we had. That way he can keep the beach in his room all the time. It's cute too.
Reply:You can make jewlery out of them. Or take bottles and fill them with sand and shells and use them as decorative accents around the house.
Reply:You can get the tot started with a Zen sand garden...in a tray, with sand, the shells, a couple rocks and a little rake (or comb)...nice quieting activity...

Or paint them! Even with nail polish!

Or put glue on them and stick glitter or eyes...make shell people and faces! ;-)

Hope this helps...Imagination is unlimited!
Reply:Sell them. (By the shore)
