Does anyone know a good site about shells and the animals living in them.preferablyhas the taxonomic heirarchy

i need to do a school project on shells. i need a site that has info on the shells, things aobut rhe animal living in them and the taxonomicy heirarchy

What you are most likely looking for is information on molluscs, shells or seashells is a term that is used collectively to refer to the calcified "houses" of some molluscs but is not really a distinct taxonomic classification as these houses can be found in different classes of the Phylum. "Shells" are primarily found in the classes Bivalvia and Gastropoda although some cephalapods like the Nautilus have an outside shell as well.
