Decorative mulch for potted plants.

Reply:Depends on their condition ever heard of 'mother of pearl' or pearl buttons? These things are very pretty .

If you have only old or grotty shells in large amounts then garden uses come to mind.Crushed they could be used for path or neutralising soil acidity.I reckon your too late for the ash-tray market.Good luck!
Reply:i think it can be used as a fertilizer if crushed fine enough.
Reply:You could make a stucco out of it and mix it with cement.

I am an artist by the way.
Reply:Why not make a mosaic with them you can mosaic almost anything
