Can anyone offer any advise on a place named Sea Shells deep fishing charters in Jamaica?

Planning a small trip to Negril next month and was wondering about this place. Has anyone gone deep sea fishing in Jamaica and used this charter service? I stumbled across a "cheesy" yahoo web site for them but don't want to spend the $400 for the half day if it's not worth the time or effort. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not aware of Sea Shells in Negril, But Stanley's Deep Sea Fishing is popular and reputable. Click the link below for their website. Trip Advisor's reviews are the link below that. Have a great holiday in Negril!

Reply:the best bet would be to check with your resort for suggestions and go with a certified guide or charter service.the $400.00 half day rate is reasonable just look at any other fishing web sites in the Caribbean or stateside.I did go in ocho rios when I was there it was set up by a couple we met while at the resort and they where from a part of texas that the biggest thing they ever saw was a frog pond. The deal he got was a friend of the taxi drivers cousins uncle next door neighbor type of deal I knew something was up when he told me the price $350 for full day.the capt and crew in no way gave any suggestions or help or for that mattter even tried to get us on any fish they wanted the $$$$$$$ and send us on our way .the ace up our sleeve was i'm a very experianced commercial and offshore game fisherman and as the saying goes you can't b.s a b.ser if you know what I mean. so take my advice go with a respectable charter service look at all the websites you can it may cost a little more but it will be worth it. if you ever go to nassau bahamas use chubasco charters I fished with them for two days all by myself on one of their boats and was totally worn out so many fish caught.
