Do they sell display cases for gun shells?

I received the shell from a rifle shot at my pop's memorial service. Does anyone sell display cases for them. It's about 3 inches long. I would like to have a case to display it in along with his flag and a Bible given in honor of him from the VFW.

I'm sure you could find a custom shop to make a shadow box to display all three. It would be expensive. But it would also be a very nice tribute.
Reply:Check some of the local framing shops. They should be able to make just about any shape you're looking for.

I don't know if you're near any military bases but here in Fort Leavenworth we have a framing shop on post that can do amazing things. They might be able to help you.
Reply:You can purchase various size display cases online. Just do a search for display cases. Don't mean to try to use this as a sales forum, but my husband does make cedar boxes for native american regalia, %26amp; has also made display cases. If you're interested, just contact me %26amp; I will give my website or what info you need. Bless you for your father's sacrifice.
Reply:First off - I'm sorry to hear about your Dad.

I have not seen a display case and you can consider finding a good local carpenter who can make you one. It will be unique and you can decide how best you want to display his things.
Reply:Dawn,

I'm sorry to hear of your pops passing. The shells you received represent the three volleys fired in his memory and rightfully should be displayed with pride.

I don't know of anyone who makes a specific case for the cartridges. However, if you were to buy or have built a shadowbox the casings could be prominently displayed along with his flag and Bible.

I hope this helps.
Reply:ive never heard of one that is specifically for the casing but im sure you could find someone that could make one, i have heard of a 21 gun salute pedestal and that comes with casings.
