Do peanuts talk to each other while they are still in their shells?

Or is it just my imagination?

Do peanuts talk to each other while they are still in their shells?
Yes they do. They like to keep track of their "jet set" siblings who end up on airliners for the passengers. Or their cousins who are in cans of cocktail peanuts and go to all of the parties. Or about the patriotic ones who go into Hershey bars that go to soldiers. They recall their childhood when they were wee little legumes beneath the warm soil and may even wish for the good ol' days before they were..."A SALTED". Sorry, couldn't resist.

There's nothing wrong with your imagination that a little dark chocolate can't make better.

ENJOY!!
Reply:yes, they do that is why they are called "pea" (should have been "to pee") and then they go all "nuts" about what was said...voila...hope now your imagination will take us to the outer space where -- our knowledge is less known!
Reply:I would talk to my shell mate! Wouldn't you?
Reply:Wow, what an interesting perception. I guess anythings possible.
Reply:It's your imagination.... but say that they did. They might talk about the debate about pecan pralines or peanut brittle which is the better one. About their friend's aunt who is a little bit nuts.

About the day that they would be out of confinement and be able to leave the shell.
Reply:Well, I don't know. Maybe they do. But, I sure have enjoyed this question and the answers too. lol! Thanks for making me smile today. : )
Reply:Of course they do, when you open the shell, they are quiet, no more telling secrets!
Reply:no
Reply:Yes they do. They talk about you most of the time. And things like the future, "will I end up in a baby ruth bar?". They also talk about Former President Jimmy Carter and his famly in Plains, Ga.
Reply:Of course they do.. unless they get into an argument, and give eachother the silent treatment. I am told this happens often, for peanuts are very opinionated, stubborn and self-serving.
Reply:no, that's why their "nuts"
