Can you do anything with egg shells?

Jaja Faszerowane (Stuffed Egg Shells)



Ingredients:

Eggs (2 per person)

2 T. melted Butter

1 T. chopped chives or shallots

salt and pepper

Cook eggs until hard. Cool for easier handling. With very sharp knife cut eggs in half lengthwise.



Method:

Remove egg from shell, being careful not to break the shell, and chop fine. Add melted butter, chives, and season. Mix thoroughly and fill shells. fry in butter for 10 minutes face down.

Can you do anything with egg shells?
You can use them to clean things like vases which are hard to clean inside. Crush them up, add them to the vase with hot soapy water and swish it around.
Reply:Yes you could, not eating it though...hehehe. Egg shell is good for orchid plants it is believe that it will help the orchids to bloom. We use it in our gardens and it sure works.



You could use it in art too, egg mosaic...I ran out of ideas...hehehe.. I hope I was helpful enough.

Reply:Shake the egg to break the yolk, make a hole in the top and the bottem only small, blow into one off the holes and the middle will come out of the other end, then you are just left with the empty shell, and then you can paint on it for easter, I used to that when I was little

Reply:I notice that a lot of people are suggesting using them to protect plants from slugs! The best way to keep slugs away is to pick one up (slug) paint it blue and place it back in the garden and you will find the rest keep away!

Reply:at times, egg shells are grinded and mixed with other scrubbing detergent inother to clean utensils (pot and pans).

Some people *blow* an egg then cut out an opening and decorate the entire thing up and keep in an egg holder for shelf decorations

Reply:Put them in a place where you don't want cat pooh. The cat's don't like walking on them. It stopped mine from digging up my flower beds!
