Apart from sea shells what else can I put on my beach theme garden.?

Still to get a piece of drift wood and glow in the dark pebbles which are a sea green colour which I want to use as an effect of a rock pool.

Apart from sea shells what else can I put on my beach theme garden.?
Lights! Solar powered lighting adds a NICE touch to any theme. Pick a soft glow. Amber, to rekindle the thoughts of a sunset on the beach.
Reply:Thankyou to all who gave good ideas which I have also noted and taken on board to help finish my beach theme which is coming along nicely.

Enjoyed making this theme garden its only a small part off my patio but continues from my new old yorkstone slabs. Report It
Reply:Any home improvement ctr or even Walmart would have solar powered lights. Glad I could help! Don't forget the plants! Report It
Reply:Any luck in finding the lights? Try ebay? I would be glad to grab some over here, if all else fails...jlroux@charter.net Never been over the "Big Pond" so, telling you where to find a retailer over there, is silly on my part. Good luck ! Report It
Reply:How about some Sand Dollars, Starfish, or maybe some Coral.
Reply:a sand castle !
Reply:You could try to get hold of those mini beach hut things. I don't know where you're from but some English beaches have small wooden changing huts (that sounds tacky i know but they're not). They're usually weathered and painted nicely, some people add a little balcony to the front and have a chair or two.

You could have a small one or, if you have a larger garden, a full size one complete with deck chairs and parasol etc...

Example picture attached.
Reply:star fish and sea horses
Reply:an anchor, whole or part. Aha someone beat me to it, so what about a nice hurricane lamp too
Reply:fish and seagulls
Reply:A couple of deck chairs
Reply:looking at the beach near my house in morecambe,

used condoms, syringes, beer bottles and dog poo
Reply:My back yard is the beach so I collect things from the beach for my garden. They sell all kinds of tall growing grasses at Michigan bulb.com I dig my up from the beach and plant them. You'll need some drift wood, poles(pileings) some old rope to wrap arpond them so it looks like a dock, old life rings, boatparts(shipwheels) if you live near a beach walk around and look for stuff alot of great things wash up that you can use.
Reply:Some posts with thick rope threaded through, with ornamental grasses planted around the bases would look good.
Reply:Try growing different types of ornamental grasses
Reply:A shark and maybe a few boats and an oil rig wld be cool!
Reply:sand maybe
Reply:try some shingle, Grasses and maybe a fake brake water made from old railway sleeper good luck sounds cool
Reply:Some fishing net stuff.
Reply:Bit tacky, but a model lighthouse
Reply:I would use bog wood
Reply:You could get some kind of limestone seahorse or dolphin for something, maybe a palm tree, if they'll grow where you live.
Reply:SAND
Reply:a length of thick mooring rope with sea weed entwined around it, a creel pot with a few crab shells in it, old fishing net and an anchor complete with chain and rust!

Hope it turns out well
