I think they taste pretty good to eat them whole when they are roasted and salted but I'm afraid eating the shell might hurt you.
Can you eat the shells of peanuts?
Sure. Eating them is a sinch. It's pooping them that becomes difficult. Bring a pick axe, you'll need it.
Reply:Yes
Reply:peanut shell probally would be god fiber, but i would be afraid that it might tear up your throat, stomach and especia;;y when it comes out your butthole. That would hurt ,don't you agree.my cousin eats milkbones.....Eat them if you like, afterall, it is your body.....Be careful.........
Reply:i am not sure that limited quantities would be all that troublesome for you to digest, but i would certainly be careful until your body is used to it. make sure you chew they up as small as you can to avoid any real danger.
I heard of a guy that ate light bulbs....he was okay so long as he chewed the glass up well...and didnt eat too many in one setting. absurd, huh?
Reply:No.
Reply:Absolutely. Great fiber.
Reply:If they taste good and you don't have any problem chewing them, enjoy! They're good for you, shell and all!
Reply:I think you can eat them but I don`t think the shells taste very good.
Reply:I heard it can cause appendicitis
Reply:Anything that is very hard and pointy and will not digest is potential for problems in your lower intestines. They can cause tearing and result in infection. (In fact, they can also tear your esophagus.) This will not definitely happen if you eat peanut shells, but it is a potential complication.
If you do eat them, chew them up really well.
Reply:Its Possible to eat them. Ive heard they arent fun to eat,but have fun.
