We are by Miami airport.

Where can we go walk the beach and find some good shells in Miami area?
As Steven says, Key Biscayne is about the closest beach with any liklihood of finding unbroken shells %26amp; then only if you get there about 5:00 - 6:00 in the morning to pick up what's floated in overnite before the other shell collectors get there.
Reply:Ok...no good shells in Miami..BUT..beachcombers from all over the world flock to Sanibel Island, located on the south west coast. There are hundreds or varieties of seashells, sand dollars, and starfish..all unbroken.

Enjoy!

Your question spoil my mind.

there is not "shells" in the Miami Ocean shores......

Collectors selll it at their stores.(yes, sad but true)
Reply:I was in Miami Beach over the weekend and there were many shells in the first few feet of surf. This may have been the result of strong storms the week before.
Reply:Well first your going to have to go to the Beach, there is no beach by Miami Airport. The Beach is about 6miles east. For sea shells I would go to the beaches on Key Biscayne Island. But really Miami is not really known for sea shells. I never looked at them atleast in Miami. On the west coast of Florida there are some very famous beaches which are known as the best sea shells beaches in the world.
