I like eating the shells with the peanuts, is that ok or is that dangerous?

Peanuts are grown in soil. The fungus (aflatoxin) on peanut shells can cause liver cancer. Depending on your immune system, you may eat them and still be okay, like starving people during wartimes have eaten soil and mud.
Reply:Lots of people do this. I don't think it is bad but you may want to be sure they are not to dirty looking.
