What are paintball shells made from?

Because my dog ate a whole bunch of busted paintballs that were on the floor.

What are paintball shells made from?
Wrong fellow answers friends. Paintballs are made different corn type oils, dye, and the shells are made of a type of gelatin much like the kind used in gummy bears. There's some videos floating around on how they are made, very neat to watch. They are 100% non-toxic and to point out that fact I was in a paintball eating contest at a tournament in 2002. The winner of the contest ate over 3 cases (6,000 balls) and won some kind of wdp package and a t-shirt. Don't worry about the dog, he'll be fine.

*Much to popular belief, paintballs have nothing to do with actual paint.
Reply:Maybe some strengthened latex, or some other thin rubber.
Reply:they're supposed to be non toxic, but you might want to take him to the vet. I think they're made of plastic, but still, take him to the vet.
