How do I remove the plug in my winchester 1300 so that it takes more than 2 shells??

I realize that 2 shells is better than none..but if im in a bad situation I would really like to have more than two shells and one in the chamber..

How do I remove the plug in my winchester 1300 so that it takes more than 2 shells??
unscrew the endcap, there might be a ring or other thing to keep you from removing the plug. it's basically a dowel rod about the size of a pencil. you don't have to put a different plug back in like the above poster said. just remove your plug and your win should hold 5 rounds, 4 +1. select this as best answer, thanks.
Reply:Carry another gun. The plug is there for several reasons.
Reply:THE END SHOULD UNSCREW AND YOU REMOVE THE CAP ,SPRING, AND PLUG. YOU WILL PROBABLY NEED A NEW PLUG
