How can we remove the stink on the crustacean shells?

we need it in our investigatory project...so please give us the easiest way to remove the stink of the crustacen shell...

How can we remove the stink on the crustacean shells?
I think that if you wash them in almost boiling water with laundry detergent in it, the stink 90% of the time will come off, but you have to let them soak for ten minutes
